Our client a leading healthcare facility based in Saudi Arabia is currently looking for a Consultant Behavior Development Pediatrics.
In this role you will be responsible for the following and not limited to:
Provide attending and consulting clinical services to the pediatric patients with developmental/educational or behavioral disorders.
Provides clinical care and consultative services to inpatients and outpatients with developmental and behavioral disorders.
Principal Duties
- Provides personcentered care and consultations to inpatients and outpatients in the area of expertise.
- Provides diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with the highest standards of care and within the delineation of privileges as recommended by the Chief of the Division and approved by the committee.
- Completes all medical documentation and reports in a timely and professional manner. This includes providing accurate interpretation of all neuropsychological testing as well as other developmental and behavioral testing and screens in a timely and professional manner. Also will provide families with comprehensive reports including information regarding the child s developmental disorder and mapping the intervention and educational plans.
- Develops collegial relationships and works collaboratively other physicians nurses allied health providers and administrators across departments and districts including the high risk neurodevelopmental clinic for neonate graduates rehabilitation services in the running of a comprehensive clinic for trisomy 21 and the genetic and metabolic services to create a comprehensive care for all genetic and metabolic cases.
- Actively participates as a member of multidisciplinary teams and is a team player.
- Shares in the callin responsibilities according to operational needs. Responds to emergency requests for assistance from the emergency rooms at all facilities.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate would have:
Experience
Two years of practice in the field of Developmental Behavior Pediatrics and proof of expertise in the discipline of Developmental Behavior Pediatrics.
Certifications/Other requirements as applicable
- Excellent command of verbal and written English
- Ability to adjust a group practice in the industrial environment
- Ability to work as a member of multidisciplinary team
- Parental training ( group and individual)
- Professional conduct as a medical expert
- Fluency in English and knowledge in Arabic would be a plus but not mandatory.
