Account Manager Middle East Africa Zurich 100

On behalf of our client a renowned Swiss private bank we are looking for an Account Manager in Zurich focusing on the Middle East & Africa market.

Tasks

• Supports the Relationship Managers (RM) in managing monitoring and reviewing of client investment portfolios
• Collaborates with internal experts from Markets Investment Solutions and Wealth Planning to identify investment and service opportunities
• Communicates with clients and prospects directly in collaboration with the RM and guarantees desk coverage while the RM is on business trip
• Ensures that accurate and highquality client relationship documentation formalities are met and maintained to a high standard at all times including client identification documentation (CDB) account opening forms and other relevant legal forms
• Actively helps managing risk (support first line of defense) i.e. in client documentation by raising concerns following up on issues independently and by escalating when in doubt
• Interacts with clients in an independent and professional manner in all aspects of account management
• Maintain and update records of client instructions client details and preferences
• Provide clients and Relationship Manager with information and data in verbal and/or written form as needed/requested
• Creates and provides clients with customized information reports and statistics etc.
• Liaise with other RMTeams Compliance Risk Management ICSales Treasury & Trading Operations & IT
• Always ensure adherence to compliance legal guidelines internal rules regulations & policies etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Finance and Banking or experience in the banking environment with jobrelated higher degree (e.g. Bachelor CFA AZEK or similar)
• At least 2 years of working experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager in the Private Banking or in Advisory or Trading in a Bank
• Proven track record in servicing banking clients with complex needs (on boarding of new clients maintaining and extending current relationships)
• Solid financial knowledge
• Several years of experience in Compliance topics and is aware of current regulations and KYC related needs
• Operate proficiently Microsoft Office for working on regular presentation preparations spreadsheets
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English (oral and written) German would be an asset
• Service oriented discreet and responsible
• Friendly open personality wellpresented and professional appearance
• Able to work independently well organized swift and accurate even when under pressure
