Quality And Environmental Compliance Engineer

Cardo Systems the global market leader in the field of wireless communication systems for Powersports & Outdoor is dedicated to providing highquality products while maintaining environmental responsibility. We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Quality and Environmental Compliance Engineer to join our Operations department. Fulltime position in a hybrid model reporting to Quality Manager Position location is Uzhgorod Ukraine.

Job Description:

The Quality and Environmental Compliance Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the companys products adhere to environmental regulations and meet stringent quality and regulation standards. This role involves overseeing the environmental compliance process and implementing effective quality control measures in our production lines.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Environmental Compliance:

• Stay updated on environmental regulations and standards applicable to consumer electronics manufacturing.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and certifications for components and finish goods.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.
• Monitor and report on the companys environmental performance suggesting improvements where necessary.
• Manage relationships with regulatory entities and global teams ensuring all required permits and certifications are obtained and maintained.

Quality Control:

• Develop implement and maintain quality control procedures for production lines.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and potential quality issues implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address qualityrelated concerns and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation including inspection procedures reports and manuals.

Supplier Quality Management:

• Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements and conduct supplier audits as necessary.
• Monitor supplier performance ensuring they meet Cardo Systems quality standards.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve qualityrelated issues promptly and effectively.
• Training and Development:
• Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures environmental compliance and relevant regulations.
• Foster a culture of quality and environmental responsibility within the organization.

Requirements :

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering Environmental Science or related field.
• Proven experience in environmental compliance and quality control within the consumer electronics industry.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards applicable to electronics manufacturing (ISO 14001 ISO 9001 ISO 16949 etc.).
• Familiarity with quality management systems and tools such as Six Sigma Lean or ISO standards.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detailoriented and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and environmental responsibility.
