Job Description

Riviera Bar Crawl & Tours is specialized in Fun Day & Night Experiences in France.

Your internship will give the chance to manage experiences and tours as well as animation marketing public relations sales and developing their French language skills. As a Tour guide manager Intern you will have the unique opportunity to embark on a journey of discovery. You will be responsible for leading tour groups sharing your knowledge and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Tasks

Day and Night Tours:

  • Conducting Tours: Lead groups of tourists on guided tours providing information commentary and insights about the destination attractions history culture and any relevant topics with enthusiasm and energy. You will do tours 3 to 5 times a week (Cannes Nice Monaco)
  • Reservations Management: event reservations checkin which may include tracking RSVPs confirming attendance and managing guest lists
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share indepth knowledge about the tours subject matter which may include historical facts art architecture natural landmarks wildlife or local customs and traditions.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety of tour participants by providing clear instructions adhering to safety guidelines and taking necessary precautions especially during outdoor or adventure tours.
  • Interacting with Tourists: Engage with tourists in a friendly informative and personable manner addressing their questions concerns and needs throughout the tour.
  • Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate information to tourists using public speaking skills to engage and captivate the audience.
  • Adaptability: Be prepared to adapt tour plans based on the needs and interests of the tourists as well as any unforeseen circumstances or disruptions.
  • Storytelling: Use storytelling techniques to make the tour more engaging and memorable weaving interesting narratives into the information you provide.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Be culturally sensitive and respectful especially when interacting with tourists from different cultures and provide insights into local customs and etiquette.
  • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by being attentive approachable and responsive to tourists feedback and preferences.
  • Sales and Promotion: Promote additional services products or future tours offered by your company or organization and encourage tourists to leave reviews or provide referrals. Distribution of promotional and informative materials
  • Environmental Stewardship: Encourage responsible tourism and environmentally friendly practices such as minimizing waste and respecting natural habitats during outdoor tours.
  • Promotion of Historical and Cultural Preservation: Encourage tourists to respect and contribute to the preservation of historical and cultural sites and landmarks.
  • Logistics Management: Manage logistical aspects of the tour such as ticketing entrance fees and transportation arrangements.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership qualities in managing the group making decisions and ensuring the overall success of the tour..

Night Events & Experiences :

Bar Crawls/Cocktails Experiences /Boat Trips/ Corporate Events / Private Parties.

  • Reservations Management: event reservations checkin which may include tracking RSVPs confirming attendance and managing guest lists. Communicate with attendees to confirm their reservation status and provide event details. Work with the event management team to ensure that all reservations are accurately recorded and accounted for.
  • Payment Processing : Handle onsite payment processing for attendees who choose to pay upon arrival. Utilize payment processing systems to securely collect payments via credit or debit cards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to attendees addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding reservations or payments. Ensure that attendees have a positive experience during the events.
  • Customer Relations and Guest Entertainment: Engage with event attendees ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. Organize entertainment activities and icebreaking games to help guests get to know each other. Create a lively and engaging atmosphere to enhance guest satisfaction. keep guests engaged and entertained.
  • Reviews and Testimonials: Encourage attendees to share their reviews and testimonials about the event either through written statements or video recordings.
  • Safety and Crowd Control: Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of all event attendees by diligently following established safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports detailing reservation and payment data including attendance numbers payment totals and any outstanding balances. Assist in preparing postevent financial reports for review by the event management team and finance department.
  • You will have to do 3 to 4 Bar tours per week

Office Work :

  • Working with the management team to develop new tour routes based on sites visitors have expressed interest in

  • Handling customer relations and postpurchase contact with the customers

  • Managing the companys social media

  • Creating quality content and promotional content for the companys website

  • Communication and cooperation with your colleagues toward a common goal

    Requirements :

Requirements

Applicants for this Tour Guide Internship must be willing to work for Riviera Bar Crawl & Tours for six months to 12 months

The standard working week of 35 hours will be from Tuesday to Saturday. Working hours may vary for different activities. However the general schedule is from 9:00 to 17:00 (day tours and office work) and from 21:00 to 01:30 (bar crawl tours). Given the nature of the Tour Guide industry applicants will be expected to demonstrate a reasonable degree of flexibility in the scheduling of their work.
