You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are currently seeking PC Help Desk/Tech Support person for a six-month contract position for US Court of Appeals located in Washington, DC. Individual must be able to pass an extensive Court s background checks.
Work is 100% onsite at the following locations in DC - 717 Madison Place and sometimes and 1401 H ST NW. Hours are Monday Friday 40 hours a week.
Skills:
High School Diploma
3-5 years IT experience
Prior PC build experience
Experience supporting end-users in a corporate environment
Well versed in the Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Familiar with PC Windows OS prior to and including Windows 10
Desktop Support Skills
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Customer service and strong communication skills
Able to work independently as well as with a team
IT Certification is a plus
Able to lift up to 50+ pounds of technical equipment
Responsibilities:
Responding to queries on the phone, via email, in person or through remote access.
Offering technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
Training computer users
