EIA Consenting and Development Manager

Corio Generation is a specialist offshore wind business dedicated to harnessing renewable energy worldwide. Based in Cork you will support the Project Development Manager and Delivery team by taking ownership of key aspects of project delivery whilst assisting with both the tendering and procurement of project services. This role will require you to manage and liaise with external stakeholders in a professional and competent manner to ensure timely delivery of contract requirements. You will also be responsible in assisting and preparing project documents including presentations planning documents and license applications whilst supporting land agents and delivery of required option agreements. You will be required to undertake site visits to facilitate and report project services and progress.

About You

• This role will require a 3rd Level Qualification in either Engineering Environmental Sciences or similar with a minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience working and contributing to the development stage of renewable energy projects.
• A strong background in EIA &consents would be needed to be successful in this role.
• Experience of the Irish market as well as Irish legislation& policy knowledge is essential.
• Good verbal and written communication skills is essential with knowledge involving: report writing presentations and diplomacy highly desirable.
• A strong overall understanding of key technical drivers across multiple disciplines is essential. Willingness to travel within Ireland and the UK is also needed.
