Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Development Managerto join the Corios rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon sustainable global economy.

Corio was developed under the Green Investment Group and remains a subsidiary of Macquarie Group (Australias largest investment bank) so we have strong financial support to drive the business forward.

Deliverables:

You will work together with our partners advisors and team members on all stages of the Project Development as well as providing handson project control risk management and stakeholder management.

You will leverage your excellent quantitative and analytical skills to optimize business processes analytical support and improve efficiency both in technical and commercial aspects.

Key Performance Areas:

Your key responsibilities will include:

Development Support

  1. Assist and lead to identify and assess new OSW opportunities in the Korean market.
  2. Assist and lead on project due diligence or development opportunities including the selection appointment and management of due diligence advisers as necessary
  3. Overseeing underlying development teams to deliver development plans across the portfolio of projects including resourcing and budget planning
  4. Proactively manage the development process including identifying key risks to project delivery and managing budget and funding to minimise potential losses due to delays or failure to secure projects.
  5. Identify any remaining development permits or consents required before construction can commence and work to secure these and derisk projects.
  6. Support delivery of the stakeholder engagement and management plan for the projects.
  7. Where required visiting project sites to manage project risks.
  8. Review and/or coordinate new contracts or internal business proposals
  9. Assist and coordinate in selecting and liaising with project advisers and consultants including owners engineer and other market technical or environmental consultants where required.
  10. Oversee the effective development and implementation of contractors health & safety management plans.
  11. Assist and lead to prepare project specific elements of internal approval papers and information memoranda for debt and equity investors.
  12. Respond to potential investor and financiers commercial and technical due diligence during the project financing stage.
  13. Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.



    Key Requirements:

    • You will hold a bachelors degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering or Project Management.
    • In terms of experience you will have minimum 3 years working as a project control engineer project engineer or development role in an EPC project. Experience in offshore wind (as developer utility consultancy equipment supplier or contractor) or a construction company will be considered favorably.
    • This role requires fluency in written and spoken Korean as well as English. Experience in Korean regulatory and authority requirements and dealing with key authorities and stakeholders involved in consents and permits will be preferred
