Planning Engineer

• Promise (CTP) and sourcing scenario • Coordinate with other functions for establishing accurate purchase/production lead time and resource - requirement for execution of manufacturing • Execute order planning through ERP system on regular basis. Transfer the planned order to confirmed - product/purchase as per requirements • Review sales quotations/sales orders in ERP, estimate and propose execution lead time to sales • Prepare monthly manufacturing/T&A plan in line with customer commitment and monthly sales target • Prepare analysis and report to management on the delays affecƟng customer delivery and propose actions to improve. Communicate to sales on the progress on each project and high light if any delays on delivery • Prepare load vs. Capacity charts from ERP and highlight the boƩlenecks and constraints to meet customer delivery • Assist Senior Planning Engineer in preparaƟon of SIOP report, based on current status of production/ purchase order/ RFQ • Execute RFQ/Purchase order/production order to meet sales order deadlines & update delivery dates if required • Process On Time Delivery Analysis, monitor and highlight major to minor issues to management • Monitor Purchase lead time & Production lead time & its components to establish load v/s available capacity • Design and develop reports on analysis of inventory, capacity, work center, machine utilization and manpower utilization
