Job Description
For our client a dynamic international company located in Prague we are looking for a Senior Accountant &#x TAX Specialist with knowledge of Hungarian Accounting Standards
- Supporting monthly quarterly and yearend closing in compliance with the local GAAP along with the IFRS reconciliation as well as local reporting to the National Bank of Hungary and Tax Reporting (VAT withholding Tax) and collaborating with Cluster Accountant to reconcile to IFRS
- Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts receivables of the core business
- Managing contract activation handling of daily payments
- Preparing regular reports to local authorities specifically the National Bank Hungary ad hoc requests from local statutory auditors and the preparing financial statements
- Preparing tax reports in full compliance including income withholding Tax VAT
- Actively supporting and cooperation with other colleagues in the Cluster Czech Republic/ Slovakia / Hungary and communicating with relevant stakeholders
- Reviewing processes and proposing improvement to achieve higher automation / digitalization and efficiency etc
- University Degree in Finance specialization in International Accounting desirable
- Chartered Accountant with certified licence according to Hungarian law a must!
- Very good knowledge of Hungarian local GAAP
- Fluent knowledge of Hungarian and either English Czech or Slovak
- MS Office knowledge of ERP system is a plus
- Experience with working in an international environment an advantage
- Project management experience an advantage
- Solid analytical skills and the ability to use new technology
