About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Optometrist to help us provide excellent vision care services to our patients in a long-term care facility.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
  


• Perform dilated exams
  


• Provide diabetic evaluations
  


• Treatment of infection and injury
  


• Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
  


• Proficient in diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
  


• Comfortable working with geriatric population
  

Ideal Candidate will:

• Be available part-time or full time
  


• Have a valid OD/DO license in the state of NY
  


• Be Board Certified
  


• Quickly acclimate to new environments
