Job Description
Our client a leading international firm at the intersection of investment and technology
development is actively seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to join their dynamic Legal &#x Compliance team
In this role you will play a pivotal part in the development and implementation of cuttingedge software systems within the regulatory compliance domain
This position offers a unique opportunity for exposure to the firms trading operations and
software development groups all within an inclusive collaborative and engaging working
environment
As a Technical Product Manager you will collaborate with a team of software developers and internal users to build new software modules implement feature enhancements and integrate thirdparty systems
Your responsibilities include scoping openended projects establishing structure and
processes for successful project completion assessing user needs conceptualizing
solutions specifying technical requirements and overseeing development testing and
rollout phases Ensuring that the product suite meets enduser needs and aligns with the firms overall goals will be a key focus This involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams developing and maintaining product roadmaps conducting technical design and architecture reviews analyzing product usage and user feedback and managing product launches
- Candidates should possess a bachelors degree in computer science or a related field (a masters degree is a plus)
- Ideal candidates will have to years of experience in product management and/or product development preferably in financial technology asset management or a hedge fund context
- Knowledge of financial markets and trading including an understanding of financial
securities and industry regulations is required - Experience with trading platforms or compliancerelated software is advantageous
- A demonstrated technical background a keen understanding of software development methodologies and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders are essential
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills creative and strategic thinking abilities handson development experience (a plus)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java familiarity with databases (eg SQL) and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies are also
desirable
