Job Description
Our client a distinguished global investment and technology development firm is in search of an inquisitive technology enthusiast to join their Quant Systems team This role involves handson technical contributions within an engineering team responsible for the development and maintenance of highperformance trading and research infrastructure
As a member of the Quant Systems team you will contribute to the design and maintenance of the firms extensive compute infrastructure This encompasses operating system platforms software development tooling highperformance computing networking and storage for research and trading
In this dynamic role you will engage in a wide range of technology initiatives within a distributed computing environment Examples include workload scheduling design and implementation fleet management clustered file system design and operation software design and life cycle (SDLC) kernel and network performance tuning for lowlatency and highthroughput applications and metrics collection and data mining analysis
- The ideal candidate will showcase a demonstrated interest in understanding how
technology operates and should hold a degree in computer science (or a related
technical discipline) - Experience of up to five years
- Proficiency in languages such as Python Golang Rust or a similar language is
required - Knowledge of Linuxbased systems and networking is advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with superb
