Our Product Department consists of developers who work on our vulnerability management solutions The aim is to increase security for our customers by identifying
vulnerabilities at an early stage so that countermeasures can be taken quickly In addition to many German and international companies our clientele also includes the German federal government

As support for our cloud teams we are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer (m/f/d) with many years of practical experience and who enjoys advancing and helping to shape solutions A motivated dynamic and diverse team is waiting to benefit from your expertise

We consider the human fit a strong understanding of modern coding practices and structured problem solving skills more important than mastering specific technologies Therefore feel free to apply even if you have only worked with a few of our technologies (see below)

• Collaboratively developing solutions and making decisions as part of a scrum team
• Extending our (mostly public) projects hosted on GitHub with new features
• Applying common development practices such as pair programming clean code code reviews TDD continuous integration etc
• Developing automated tests for new features
• Promoting
  the team towards more effective and satisfied work by providing
  constructive input during daily work and retrospectives
• Supporting the product owners in designing meaningful user stories
• If interested codesign of the future architecture
• If interested mentoring of less experienced or new colleagues

• Very good programming skills in a common language

• A distinctive ability to advance solutions in a team

• Completed studies in computer science or comparable training as a software developer

• Several years of project experience in software development

• English communication is no obstacle for you

• Practical experience in at least one of the following areas

• UNIX and network programming

• Agile approaches preferably Scrum

• Fullstack development (frontend backend test automation DB DevOps)

• Containerization/Cloud

• Test automation

• Architecture
