Our client is an NSI Gold approved company with over years experience within the fire & security industry they design install monitor and maintain Intruder and Fire Alarms Close Circuit Television (CCTV) Access Control and Integrated Systems they install high quality equipment that meets with UK and EU standards and all of their jobs are issued with a Certificate of Compliance
Over the last years they have serviced and maintained ongoing relationships with a variety of clients across a wide number of sectors including commercial and industrial public sector housing associations hospices schools and retail premises
They are inspected twice a year to ensure they maintain standards in both quality of installation and in how they run as a business their installation teams are thoroughly security vetted (DBS) and all team members are vetted in line with the NPCC ACPO policy to ensure suitability of employment 
On offer is a salary of up to per year plus overtime company van mobile phone tablet/laptop pension scheme days holiday plus all bank holidays and career progression
The Fire & Security Installation Engineer will
Be overseeing the installation and commissioning of a wide range of fire life safety systems as well as CCTV access control and intruder alarm systems within the East Midlands where their technical expertise attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results will be key to ensuring all customers continue to receive their industry leading service satisfaction during the delivery of their bespoke solutions
As the Fire & Security Installation Engineer you will be
- Installing configuring and commissioning various fire life safety systems including fire alarms smoke detectors emergency lighting and fire suppression systems as well as CCTV access control and intruder alarm systems
- Working across the East Midlands offering a prompt and efficient service delivery that meets project timelines and customers expectations
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of fire and security systems and keeping up to date with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices
- Conducting system testing trouble shooting and maintenance to identify and rectify any issues that arise during or after installation
- Providing technical support and resolving any customer questions queries or concerns
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation for all installations configurations and commissioning activities completing relevant paperwork and reports
- Coordinating with the Sales Team Project Managers Fellow Engineers to ensure seamless project execution and successful handover to customers
RequirementsTo be considered as the Fire & Security Installation Engineer you will need the following skills and experience
Essential to have
- A minimum of three years previous experience of installing and commissioning fire life safety systems CCTV access control and intruder alarm systems
- A strong understanding of fire and security systems including installation configuration and troubleshooting
- An understanding of the relevant industry standards and regulations
- Related Fire & Security Systems Installation Certificates or Qualifications (ie FIA IOSH as well as Bespoke System Manufacturers Courses)
- A willingness to attend appointments across the East Midlands and as required (holiday / sickness cover) to travel further afield
