Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Monday to Friday 3 days 12-hour shift
Bonus upon completion based on contract commitment:
Roles & Responsibilities
Implements and monitors patient care plans.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Complexity of Work: Within the scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Minimum Qualifications
This department population includes medical, oncology, and end of life patients.
Chemo education through ONS preferred, but not required.
Only those experienced will be expected to administer chemotherapy.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Certifications & Clearance Requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Ascension Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
