Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Municipal Engineer/Project Manager to their Akron, Ohio office!
Responsibilities:
- Project management duties for Public Works Department which may include attending Planning Commission/City Council meetings, coordinating projects with Mayor/Service Directors, and coordination with internal teams
- Provide technical oversight (develop budgets, manage design/quality review process, and data research process)
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Administrative duties including developing/tracking workflow tasks, scheduling, review quality assurance standards and ensuring project documentation is consistent with project plans and within scope/budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience working on city projects including roadway reconstructions, road programs, waterline, and sewer replacements
- PE License
- Extensive experience with MPO s such as AMATS and NOACA
- Experience developing/overseeing project scope, schedule, and fees for new projects and additional scope/services requested by existing clients
- Knowledge of ODOT LPA plan delivery, specifications, and contract management
- Experience leading design of LPA Projects preferred
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD Civil 3D/MicroStation Open Roads preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Salary is commensurate with experience.
