Job Description

  • To assist the payroll manager with end-to-end payroll processing including things like sickness, overtime, statutory payments, and deductions.
  • To have a good understanding of mathematics to be able to calculate manual holiday average calculations, processing additional payments and deductions.
  • Be able to check new starters are set up correctly on the system, check leaver information against leaver forms, vehicle damage, fines and company vehicle return date.
  • To process and check Benefit in Kind
  • Maintaining and checking sickness records, sick notes and SSP calculations.
  • Company vehicle record maintenance, assigning vehicles, end dates and private/non-private use, this also includes paying/deducting private mileage/usage.
  • Responsible for adhering to GDPR at all times
  • General administrative tasks within Finance department
  • Any other reasonable requests from management
  • The post holder will ensure the health, safety, and welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with the Kings Policy
  • To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
  • The post holder will understand the regulatory, fair trading and competition rules relating to their work sufficiently to be able to comply with them, relying on their own knowledge or on their ability to recognise that they will need specialist support

  • Implement and act in accordance with the organisations information security policies
  • Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
  • Implement particular security processes or activities, as requested by management

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • High level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel and Payroll software
  • Excellent administrative duties
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent use of written and spoken English language
  • Self-motivated, confident, organised, practical and highly adaptable
