Job Description
Are you an experienced chargehand in civil engineering, infrastructure and utilities? Are you looking for a fresh start in a top civil engineering company in North-East Scotland? If so, then this could be the perfect fit for you.
We are seeking an experienced chargehand to join a thriving civil engineering company in North-East Scotland. You will be part of a team responsible for residential infrastructure and utilities projects. This is your chance to be part of a successful team and take your career to the next level.
To succeed in this role, you must have a solid civil, infrastructure and utilities background and be highly motivated and organised. You should be able to take initiative, work autonomously, and work as part of a team. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the delivery of residential infrastructure and utilities projects. You must ensure all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard. You must be able to manage a team, delegate tasks, and ensure all work is completed efficiently. You will also be responsible for ensuring all health and safety protocols are always adhered to.
The successful candidate must have:
- A Valid CSCS Card
- A Valid SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate
- A minimum of 3 years experience in civil engineering chargehand role
- A Strong background in civil infrastructure and utilities would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

16.00 - 18.00 an hour
Previous experience in operating and maintaining drilling equipment would be advantageous Solid understanding and knowledge of civil engineering Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to work to tight deadlines
