You should be able to take initiative, work autonomously, and work as part of a team. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in the delivery of residential infrastructure and utilities projects. You must ensure all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard. You must be able to manage a team, delegate tasks, and ensure all work is completed efficiently. You will also be responsible for ensuring all health and safety protocols are always adhered to.
The successful candidate must have:
- A Valid CSCS Card
- A Valid SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate
- A minimum of 3 years experience in civil engineering chargehand role
- A Strong background in civil infrastructure and utilities would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously
- Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
