Job Description

pOur client isexpanding globally they are looking for a talented Service Manager to support their customer base in the United States Based in their offices in Virginia the Service Manager will take responsibility for the end to end customer experience The Service Manager will act as customer champion making sure we continually meet expectations and contractual obligationsppstrongAs a Service Manager your responsibilities will includestrongpulliDeveloping customer relationships based on trust confidence and mutual respectliliMaintaining a comprehensive understanding of the customers strategy commercial drivers market and challenges with particular focus on the development of a strategic partnershipliliAct as the customers advocate ensuring that their business requirements and service expectations are understood by the relevant operational and support teamsliliAnticipate service management challenges and feed into the Consulting service issuesideas for improvementliliEnsure high levels of communication with customers are maintained at all times liliAct as an escalation point to ensure customer issues are handled in a professional timely and effective mannerliliProactively work with sales to identify additional productsservices that will enhance your customer experienceliliTrack and manage the customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle and in line with agreed timescales eg time to provide a quote delivering a service repairing a failure ensuring accurate invoicingcash collection and cessation of servicesliulpstrongThe successful candidate will demonstratestrongpulliBachelors degree in a relevant subjectliliGood experience in a similar customer facing role in Service Delivery or Client Relationship Management typically of at least two yearsliliExperience with the software development lifecycle cloud platforms andor the development of hardware and softwareliliExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsliliProven experience in a technical field liliProven ability to manage and motivate othersliulpstrongDesirablestrongpulliExperience in project management or project delivery in the IT and Telecoms sectorliliExperience in conducting Service Review Meetings with customers and providersliliFull security clearance is desirable liul
