pOur client specializes in the design and deployment of realtime applications and unified communication initiatives Their specialty is operational maintenance of existing systems while providing engineering support to migrate clients into nextgeneration cloudbased applications They are a leader in developingand delivering costeffective ecofriendly solutions to Federal State and Local governmentsppstrongWhat we are looking forstrongppBased in their offices in Reston Virginia they are looking for a handson Avaya Red Engineer with an active Secret or TopSecret security clearance to support one of our longterm federal clientsbrppstrongKey responsibilities within this rolestrongppSenior Engineerpp Lead the enterprise program for maintaining Avaya Unified Communications and Contact Center services while promoting security awareness and continuous improvementpp Provide best practice solutions for upgrades and implementations of voice communications services networks and adjuncts such as Communication Manager System Manager Session Manager Voicemail CMS AES AVP VoIP endpoints and SIP trunkspp Handson experience with Avaya Aura products is mandatory to be successful inppthis position as you will lead the local team for upgrades installs and migrationspp Serve as the escalation point of contact for Operations and Maintenance of the Avaya Aura devices and voice network to include troubleshooting the LAN WAN call routing trunking service provider issues and secure VoIP endpoints (GDIT Viper)pp Help define the customers voice security architecture that will support FIPS and FISMAppprograms of compliance for federal IT systemspp Provide clear direction to the client ensuring all stakeholders understand the importance andvalue of their individual role in achieving the governments mission and goalspp Provide daily weekly monthly reportsupdates on program activities and progress to localgovernment management as requiredppstrongAbout youstrongppemstrongSecret or TopSecret security clearance are required must be a US citizenstrongempp Bachelors Degreeequivalent in Computer Science or relatedpp Substantial handson experience with Avaya Aura products typically of at least five yearspp Experience with Linux Visio VMware Microsoft and Cisco are all desiredpp Operational experience of implementing IT or networking systemspp Experience of working in an environment processing sensitive customer datapp Great communicator including verbal written and presentation skillspp Excellent interpersonal skills able to influence those not in direct line managementppbrp
