Role: Nanny

Hours: Part-time 30 hours Or 40 Hours full time will be considered also or 2 x Part-time

Hours 8am-6pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday & Saturday as core hours with Summer Holidays required.

Rate: 12- 14 p/h depending on experience.

The Role

The role mainly involves the care of a 12 year old autistic boy with a learning disability who has not attended a school setting for 18 months.

You will arrange and take him to activities outside of the house as well as engaging him in activities inside the house.

You will also care for his two younger siblings (10 and 7) before and after school. For example, this may include going out, taking them to activities and helping with homework.

In school holidays, usually you will assist on family days out but on occasion you may also take charge of the children (either separately or together). The majority of your holidays should be taken in term-time.

You should be willing (and able) to make the children s meals as well as light household chores e.g. children s washing & ironing, tidying after them etc.

Mum works from home and will be in the house whilst you are performing your duties.

Own Car

Experience of working with children

OFSTEAD Registration or willingness to obtain registration with support from employer before commencement of employment.

Desired

Experience with Autistic children and or children who have a moderate learning disability.
