Salary: Starting from 40,000 per annum, with flexibility based on experience

Contract: Permanent

Location: Hybrid with options to work remotely or from the companys hubs in London, Bristol, Manchester, or Harwell

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Deeply understand the products, the development process, and the technical testing environment to develop robust testing protocols.

Work collaboratively with agile team members to create and conduct automated tests and define manual exploratory tests, ensuring product iterations are delivered successfully.

Uphold the highest quality standards across product changes, aligning with the team s quality objectives.

Identify opportunities for product enhancements, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the product suite.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven track record in automated test development for large-scale applications in an Agile environment.

Proficiency in crafting maintainable automated tests, with a strong focus on quality documentation.

Solid experience with Java and testing web-based applications.

Extensive knowledge of WebDriver, Cucumber, and Page-Object patterns.

Demonstrated expertise in API testing, preferably with REST Assured or similar tools.

Demonstrable experience of defining and creating functional and non-functional automated tests for enterprise-scale applications within an Agile software product development environment Highly skilled at creating automated tests that are both high-quality, easily maintainable, and well documented Knowledge and experience of automated and manual testing of Web-based applications Good knowledge of Java programming language Significant knowledge and experience of using WebDriver, Cucumber and Page-Objects Significant knowledge and experience of ensuring REST-based APIs meet functional and non-functional requirements using REST Assured or similar library
