Currently, we are in search of a highly proficient Estimator/Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a background in arbitration to become an integral part of our dynamic remote team.


Job Description:

We are actively seeking an Estimator/QS with a well-documented history of success in the UK construction industry, including arbitration experience, to deliver crucial cost management and strategic planning counsel, spanning from project inception to its successful conclusion.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive cost plans, estimates, and project budgets.
  • Precisely quantify and price traditional construction tasks.
  • Conduct rigorous analysis of commercial risks, including arbitration considerations.
  • Prepare and submit meticulous tender documents.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to implement value management strategies.
  • Evaluate and compare quotations from subcontractors, factoring in arbitration-related aspects.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience within the UK construction sector, with a demonstrated proficiency in arbitration matters.
  • Hold a BSc in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of a Professional QS Certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of participation in UK-based projects, including involvement in arbitration proceedings.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as MS Excel, AutoCAD, and specialized estimation software.
