- 2nd shift process tech will work in cooperation with Supervisors, Material Handlers, Inspectors, Quality Team Leads, and Production/Quality Managers in coordinating the processing and troubleshooting of all machines and equipment.
- Dimensional verification quality checks on all production products running utilizing metrology equipment and gages.
- Conduct and Record ALL required dimensional checks, gage SPC checks, and visual checks to the Master Boundary Sample and Master Color plaques on the Quality Control Report. (QCR)
- Responsible for ALL FIRST PIECE and LAST PIECE Shot documentation and part retention
- Ensure all job totes are complete and returned to Quality Rack when job is completed with the Last shots
- Assist in Supervisor responsibilities when asked to cover.
- Support Program and Tooling Manager
- Take ownership of all samples (trial runs) both prototype and production and complete all required sample paperwork.
- Complete RMT s as needed or requested.
- Responsible for mold changes
- Assists with material handling and related assembly operations
- Continually optimize process setting and troubleshooting of processes.
- Monitoring and maintaining all production process set-up sheets for all processes
- Light maintenance relating to a continual production environment
- Assistance with production and quality-related improvements
- Assists with giving Operators breaks as necessary
- Documentation: assisting with plant production requirements
- Assist with other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Management Staff.

- Authority: To consult with the Shift Supervisor if a process is affecting Quality or Safety.
- Minimal Training: Hi-Lo Training, Lock-out Tag-out Training, Crane Operation Training, Machine Set-up Training.
- Minimal Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimal Experience: Previous 5 years working experience in Material Handling and setup.
