The Role:
We are looking for suitably experienced/dedicated Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecology to provide high quality evidence based and patient focused clinical services.

Total remuneration package: up to $370,000

Location 1 – a picture-postcard university town is the main hub of the wildly beautiful location. With wide leafy streets and heritage architecture, the town itself is a delight, but add in world-class rock-climbing sites, a booming wine industry, a great regional gallery and four national parks, and you’ve got a destination where you’ll feel deeply connected to the land – and yourself.

Location 2 - Renowned for its diversity and experiences, here a rural lifestyle is complimented by a thriving city experience. Located only 3 hours from coastal New South Wales and a quick 4-hour drive (or even faster flight) to Sydney. This is a place to enjoy all that nature has to offer, along with a great place to raise children and make long term friends. A range of educational, career, sporting and recreational activities are all here in this beautiful region.

Location 3 – shining like an Emerald on this NSW Coast -this is a natural wonderland with spectacular ocean beaches, dramatic waterfalls, and fertile farmland. Surf, swim, kayak, or fish; or take a walk in a subtropical rainforest. If you’re an avid cook, fresh produce is a highlight of the region with local wines, oysters, and farmers markets.

Skills & Qualifications required:

1. A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
2. Evidence of being a medical expert, demonstrated by recent and comprehensive experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
3. Evidence of being a scholar, maintains medical professional development and has the ability to assist other staff, including trainees in the acquisition and development of knowledge.
4. Evidence of being a skilled communicator, including both oral and written skills, communicating with patients, students, other health professionals and the public.
