Position
System Administrator/ Specialist (Bilingual Japanese – English)
Summary
The System Administrator / Specialist’s primary focus may be in the areas of cloud-based collaboration environment, Mobile Device and Networking configuration, security and management. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in configuration and maintenance of mid to large size projects and operational IT matters.
Essential Duties
Responsibilities
• Administer and provide support of Office 365 Services: Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and other Office 365 applications
• Ensure and create plans of Information Protection, Data Governance and Compliance in collaboration / security / network products.
• Implement, administer and troubleshoot security such as Antivirus, MFA, SSO, SIEM
• Administer and maintain mobile devices (Windows, Android, Apple) using Microsoft Intune and/or JAMF
• Assist with management of cloud based Active Directory to manage users, security groups, file shares, print server and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain and administrate computer networks and systems including Firewalls, servers, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware
• Monitor and alert responses, ticket triage, and issue resolution daily
• Assist helpdesk providing technical support in timely manner.
• Design and implement network architecture aligned with Head Quarter’s global direction
• Create and manage Knowledge Base articles for both users and IT personnel to assist with procedures and checklists.
• Become a communication bridge between US entities and IT team in Japan HQ for all IT related projects and operational matters.

Qualifications
Requirements
• 3+ years of work experience in a corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information System, Systems Security, or a related field of study.
• Knowledge of Network and Infrastructure, Mobile Device Management, and IT security.
• Ability to successfully navigate and operate in ambiguous situations and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of windows server is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent people skills and cultural awareness.
• Understanding of corporate and business-related guidelines; Understanding of legal and IT Security regulations.
• Bilingual (English & Japanese) - Fluent
Other Requirements
• This position requires 10% domestic and/or international travel for business purposes (*company travel policies, rules, and restrictions will apply). The frequency of travel will depend on business requirements. A valid passport is required.
• Ability to attend late-night / early-morning meetings and accommodate a flexible work schedule required due to global meetings.
• Must be available for after hours and On-Call support as required.
• Must be able to commute to Chicago or New York office at least 3 days a week
