Important pharma multinational company is looking for a Demand Planner for its headquarters in the province of Barcelona
Job Role
Managing the sales forecasting process for the market to meet forecast accuracy objectives Collaborating closely with various key stakeholders (Marketing Commercial Finance) to ensure that the most relevant data and insights are used to generate an optimal sales forecast for a portfolio of products Youll be actively involved in driving forward forecasting improvements to support and achieve challenging targets
Main Responsabilities
Demand Planning
Generate monthly demand plans
Submit monthly forecast to company corporate for selected corporate brands
Maintain Baseline forecast in line with seasonality of product
Work closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure that promotions NPD and new distribution listings (or delistings) are embedded in the forecast
Continuously improving forecasting techniques method and approach Assemble and analyze all data needed to create the sales forecast historical sales market trends seasonality and promotions
Create and maintain standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems
Monitor and improve forecasting metrics through KPI measurement and analysis
Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions
Identify forecast risk and opportunities
Responsibility for developing the accuracy of the forecast
Customer Supply Chain Management
Work closely with Supply and Sales to ensure service levels are met
Develop reports and monitor performance for the team
Portfolio Management
Ensure new product introductions are timely reflected in demand plans and optimal profiles set in forecast tool
Ensure demand plans and forecast tool is updated for phaseout products
Track performance of NPD against plan
Requirements
Studies Management or engineering degree or similar
Experience years as a Demand specialist (pharmaceutical experience will be desire)
Languages English and Spanish
IT tools Navision SAP Office and Logility
