Job Description
Summary
- Department: Medical 9 West
- Shift Timing: Early Morning 06:30 - 19:00 Hours Monday to friday. (3 Days/12 Hours)
- Per Week:36 Hours
- This department is a 28 unit, serving Neuro/Stroke unit, serving adult patients and does have telemetry capability
- Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5-6
- The unit is also supported by PCTs and a Healthcare unit coordinator
- Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemetry
- NIH is required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
- Assess and coordinate patients discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
Work Authorization

- US Citizen
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
