Conveyancing Assistant - Leeds City Centre

Position: Conveyancing Assistant - Newbuild Property Team

Role Overview:

Located at our city centre office, this full-time position is for a committed individual who places clients at the heart of everything they do. With a predominant focus on client service, the ideal candidate will bring professionalism, efficiency, and a personal touch to each interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open new files and input instructions into the Case Management system, generating necessary correspondence.
  • Monitor and update the Case Management system adhering to team protocols.
  • Issue contracts on sale files and assist with enquiries responses.
  • Handle order searches and the paperwork related to exchanges.
  • Prepare for and facilitate completions.
  • Issue mortgage reports to clients.
  • Efficiently handle incoming post and telephonic enquiries.
  • Undertake tasks including filing, billing, faxing, photocopying, mail sorting, and archiving.
  • Provide general administrative support to the office and wider firm.


Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in keyboard use.
  • Literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Detailed-oriented with a strong adherence to teams quality standards.
  • Capable of managing customer enquiries effectively and with empathy.
  • Proven ability to handle work pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Versatile, adaptive, and open to feedback.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Prior experience in a high-paced role.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in conveyancing, specifically sales and purchase.
