About Hoppscotch
Hoppscotch is a light-weight, open-source, API development suite. Hoppscotch was built from the ground up with ease of use and accessibility in mind. Hoppscotch provides all the functionality needed for developers with a minimalist and unobtrusive UI. About the role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Developer Advocate to join our team. As a Developer Advocate, your main responsibility will be to engage with the developer community and support them in using Hoppscotch for their API development and testing needs. You will work closely Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing to ensure developers have the resources they need to succeed, while also contributing valuable insights to shape our products and services.
What will you be doing?
- Actively engage with the developer community through online forums, social media, and events, addressing questions, sharing insights, and facilitating discussions.
- Systematically gather and present developer feedback to influence product improvements and address support issues
- Maintain relationships with key developers, influencers, and advocates in the API development and testing ecosystem, fostering a strong and engaged developer community
- Deliver content for the developer community through various formats, including written blogs, videos, workshops and documentation.
- Take the lead in organizing developer events for Hoppscotch, ensuring they are best-in-class and tailored to developers' interests
About you
- You have 1+ years of experience in developer relations, community management or in a related role
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of APIs, web development and experience writing code.
- Proven experience in creating technical content, such as tutorials, documentation, and code samples, that resonates with developers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
