Job Description:
- Electrical component obsolescence and alternate parts mitigation.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting DC-DC power supplies, including EMI filtering and management.
- Experience with Altium Design and SVN repositories and clients
- Experience with Aerospace products
- Experience with DO-160 or MIL-STD environmental qualification.
- Experience with Oxygen Systems or Passenger Service Units (PSUs)
Duties:
- Responsible for electrical hardware design and integration, requirements management, component derating, schematic capture, PCB layout oversite, DC-DC power supply design, troubleshooting and support activities through all phases of product development including qualification and validation testing.
- to create schematics, operational diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, ensuring electrical design to requirement, supporting electrical testing and troubleshooting. Responsible for owning electrical hardware design and all design lifecycle activities.
- Supporting test articles, fixtures, wire harnesses, and representative loads necessary for design, qualification, or production use (such as acceptance test procedures), are also included in design duties as required
