You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPosition Overview: Performs all nuclear medicine examinations in accordance with established protocols. Knowledgeable in all aspects of operation of the nuclear medicine equipment. Exams performed with the highest technical quality and efficiency while providing compassionate care and ensuring patient safety. Essential Functions: a) Familiar with infection control procedures and nuclear safety in compliance with the nuclear policy and procedure manual. b) Order the necessary isotopes, survey each new isotope shipment and record each shipment properly. c) Contribute to the Medical Imaging team by demonstrating team work and a willingness to perform any task. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Physical Demands: Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds. Moving, lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to fifty (50) pounds, as well as assist with weights of more than one-hundred (100) pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods. Fine motor skills. Visual acuity. Qualifications & Skills: a) Education: ARRT registered or Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist. BLS certified on hire. ACLS within 6 months of hire. b) Training & Experience: Prefer one year experience but not mandatory. c) Job Knowledge: Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Shift: 4 - 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday with weekend call rotation
