Only submit traveler who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to: Prepare and package medications. Deliver medications to different patient care areas. Control inventory and cost. Work with Pharmacy automation and robotics.Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirements:o Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile). Experience:o Traveler must have previous Pharmacy Technician experience in inpatient/level 1 trauma facility or similar size hospital setting. o Traveler must have sterile compounding experience - required. o Epic experience highly preferred. o Prior traveler experience required. Licensure and Certification:o Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician registration is required.o CPT Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Referenceso Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years). Floatingo Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.Location: UW Health East Madison Hospital 4602 Eastpark Blvd, Madison, WI 53718 Parking: Free parking onsite.
Shift: 40 hrs/week, PM's, 8 hour shifts. Weekend rotation dependent on operational need. Shifts M - F would typically be 1:30 - 10 PM, and Sat/Sun 12:30 - 9PM.
