Job Description:
Electrical component obsolescence and alternate parts mitigation.
Experience designing and troubleshooting DC-DC power supplies, including EMI filtering and management.
Experience with Altium Design and SVN repositories and clients
Experience with Aerospace products
Experience with DO-160 or MIL-STD environmental qualification.
Experience with Oxygen Systems or Passenger Service Units (PSUs)
Duties:
1. Responsible for electrical hardware design and integration, requirements management, component derating, schematic capture, PCB layout oversite, DC-DC power supply design, troubleshooting and support activities through all phases of product development including qualification and validation testing.
2.Works to create schematics, operational diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, ensuring electrical design to requirement, supporting electrical testing and troubleshooting. Responsible for owning electrical hardware design and all design lifecycle activities.
3. Supporting test articles, fixtures, wire harnesses, and representative loads necessary for design, qualification, or production use (such as acceptance test procedures), are also included in design duties as required
