**This is for Advanced Medical Imaging**Minimum Qualifications:Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Certified MRI Technician certification Essential Job Functions:Performs MRI exams and procedures as requested by the medical staffAssists the Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and proceduresPerforms ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and proceduresCompletes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.Retrieves and file exam jackets, written orders, and related health information to insure the timely performance and reporting of MRI exams and procedures.Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan.Limited direction required in aspects of work performed.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all timesAbility to work in a busy and stressful environmentCreativity, problem analysis and decision makingAbility to work varied shiftsExercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentialityComputer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipmentSelf-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversightStrong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills
