Job Duties -
In this role you'll be expected to plan, lead, and socialize research studies to help drive employee experiences with our technology.
Partnering closely with designers, developers, product managers, business partners, and senior leadership, the senior UX researcher conducts end to end product research studies that enable teams to make informed and confident decisions by creating a 0 - 3 month research roadmap.
As a UX researcher, you will own the development of research and insights for a scrum product team that drive the way our product organization understands and designs for our store employees.
You will have expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., knowing when to use different methods, how to determine the right research approach).
You will have experience in content management research or content comprehension and page layouts.
Plan, design, and lead end-to-end research studies and facilitate the research process for product teams and business stakeholders.
Package insights into tools and assets for designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to leverage (e.g., frameworks, use cases, design recommendations).
Drive leadership buy in and support by regularly meeting, presenting findings, connecting to business outcomes, and quantifying business value.
Ability to frame key questions, create research plans to address those, conduct research, and synthesize the findings into meaningful, actionable insights.
Ability to determine user research needs and review and evaluate user feedback.
Find creative and compelling ways to present and evangelize insights throughout the company, tailoring findings to suit the audience.
Job Requirements -
5+ years corporate UX Research experience
5+ years embedded scrum team designer or in and iterative approach
Experience with tools (e.g., Optimal Workshop, Figma, Qualtrics)
Solid understanding of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Invision, DSM, Zeppelin, Adobe XD and creative suite or other visual tools
Ability to design and conduct usability studies-i.e., identify potential solution options for a stated user need and design experiments that help elicit the most viable solution for users
Strong experience with qualitative (e.g., In-depth interviews, concept & usability testing, card sorting, co-design) and quantitative research methods (e.g., surveying)
A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns. Ability to work with a dedicated Strategist
Experience card sorting tree tests - evaluative and usability testing. Usability but understand and drive requirements with the designers for the use of the test to use.
Previously created research roadmaps 0 - 3 months out
Supported content management research or content comprehension and page layouts
You are an excellent communicator, excited to work closely with stakeholders
You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently and effectively with cross-functional teams
