Position Overview The IT Support Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and functionality of our hardware and software systems Reporting to the Director of Information Technology the candidate will provide enterpriselevel support conduct preventive maintenance and offer training to optimize technology utilization
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability and functionality of hardware and software systems
- Perform repairs upgrades installations and troubleshooting
- Educate endusers on the proper use of company hardware software and applications
- Support daytoday operations equipment including configuration maintenance and repair
- Configure network equipment such as routers modems copiers printers and cabling
- Maintain and inventory records of IT systems and equipment
- Apply revisions to IT systems firmware and software
- Train employees on the use of new and existing software and hardware
- Create maintain and manage user systems accounts
- Install modify and maintain system and application software on server computer systems
- Support the maintenance and backups of critical systems cameras and data
RequirementsRequired Skills
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems common equipment and technologies
- Familiarity with enterprise backup recovery procedures and system performance
- Proficiency in common monitoring tools
- Effective project management techniques principles and practices
- Coordination and implementation of computer and peripheral systems
- Strong customer service skills attention to detail problemsolving ability and organizational skills
- Ability to take directions work under pressure and collaborate as a team player
- Minimum of years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to travel up to %
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server Active Directory Group Policy HyperV Sonicwall and Zoho Cloudbased applications
- Understanding of TCP/IP network security antivirus and antispam techniques
- Familiarity with Windows Servers and Windows workstations in a Windows domain
