Senior Backend Scala Engineer

• Project manager duties including completing projects on time and on budget, monitor projects/schedules throughout projects, lead formal project reviews, act as technical resource for team, mentor junior staff, and complete engineering tasks within federal, state, and local established criteria
  
• Identify business development opportunities and create marketing plans
  
• Assist with preparation of engineering services proposals that included interviews and calculations/estimates of time schedules and costs
  
• Attend/participate in networking events and professional organizations
  
• Serve as prime contact for client on projects
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
  
• Master s degree preferred
  
• 8+ years of experience developing a wide variety of transportation projects
  
• Experience developing/managing MoDOT projects
  
• PE registration
  
• Project management experience that includes MoDOT projects, interstate, interchange, expressway and/or urban arterial projects
  
• Experience with municipal, traffic, hydraulic and field construction preferred
  
• Knowledge of project accounting and managing the schedule/budget for multiple projects at once
