Job Description
- Company: App Orchid
- Role: Collaborate with a team of experts to provide data science solutions to clients
- Responsibilities include developing and implementing Bayesian models and communicating with engineering and product teams
- Candidate needs to have a deep understanding of the client's data structure
- Preferred education background in statistics, mathematics, engineering, or social sciences
- Strong expertise in Bayesian modeling and data science required
- Experience with Python and probabilistic programming systems such as Pyro/Numpyro, PyMC, or Stan is necessary
- Must possess strong data engineering skills and familiarity with SQL, Numpy, and Pandas
- Should have a passion for developing intuitive insights and interpretable models
- Knowledge of optimization, operations research, linear programming, and reinforcement learning techniques is essential
- Ability to solve complex optimization problems using Python libraries such as CVXPY or OR-Tools
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
