How Youll Help
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our team responsible for managing the product life cycle for our Assessment & Credentialing product line In this impactful role you will guide the creation and evolution of tools and features that assist higher ed institutions in the assessment of student learning and innovation of credentialing solutions

What You Will Do

• Work closely with crossfunctional teams including technology marketing client success and sales to launch and develop products that meet client needs and drive revenue growth
• Establish and maintain a roadmap that outlines development and investment across theproduct line to ensure the products vision timeline and commitments are met
• Create and maintain product documentation including product requirements user stories and product specifications
• Define and track product metrics to measure success and inform product improvements
• Build and maintain relationships with client institutions serving as product developmentpartners for requirements definition development testing validation deployment
• Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions and priorities
• Maintain competitive intelligence and knowledge base with market and user/buyer
  persona detail
• Participate in onsite product and client activities with % travel expectation (Ability to travel by air and valid driver license to rent vehicles)

You Will Be a Good Fit For This Role If You Have

• years of relevant professionallevel experience as a product manager
• Strong communication planning and organizational skills
• Higher education industry knowledge (current institutional challenges organizational andreporting structures functional and organizational hierarchy roles and responsibilitiesacross academic administrative and operational units)
• Prior experience as an EdTech Product Manager focusing on institutional assessment outcomes assessment Learning Management Systems analytics/reporting or related products
  

Nice To Haves Include

• Experience as a product manager in both well established companies/product and startup environments
• Prior professional roles in a higher education institution
• Background in business process analysis and/or higher education industry related experience with key enterprise systems and business processes
• Mentoring and management of product management team members
• Familiarity with data analysis and analytics technologies (data warehousing data visualization tools)

Location
HelioCampus has three locations Bethesda MD Chapel Hill NC and Philadelphia PA This specific role is primarily remote with occasional travel to an office or client site
