About this Role


As the Head of Recruiting for our client, you will play a pivotal role in advancing and expanding our recruiting function to attract and hire top-tier talent enthusiastic about making a real-world impact through AI. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting and implementing recruiting pipelines for pivotal yet challenging-to-fill positions. Collaborating closely with hiring managers, you will formulate effective sourcing, assessment, and offer strategies to secure the very best talent. Building, expanding, and optimizing processes and systems will be key aspects of your role, with a continuous commitment to updating or refining playbooks as needed to meet your hiring objectives.

- Develop and implement recruiting pipelines for pivotal yet challenging-to-fill roles, collaborating closely with hiring managers to design effective sourcing, assessment, and offer strategies for acquiring top-tier talent.

- Build, expand, and optimize processes and systems, consistently seeking opportunities to update or refine playbooks to achieve hiring goals.

- Attract top-tier talent that others may find challenging to engage, making our client the foremost hub of AI talent globally.

- Bring creativity, rigor, critical assessment, and determination to realize the vision of our client's ambitious hiring goals while upholding the high standards required.

- Proven track record of achieving recruiting outcomes in a fast-paced, rapidly-growing startup environment.

- Experience successfully establishing and scaling hiring processes from inception to full operation across various roles.

- Data-driven approach to sourcing, assessment, pipeline management, and iterative improvement.

- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and continually enhancing a scaled hiring process within modern, industry-standard applicant tracking systems and outreach platforms.

- Ability and drive to function as an individually contributing full-stack recruiter, not solely as a manager.

- Existing networks within AI talent communities, particularly in NYC.

- Passion for AI and the individuals driving innovation on the cutting edge.

- Experience effectively deploying non-traditional sourcing strategies to reach challenging-to-find talent.

- Experience in creating and leveraging talent branding to achieve hiring objectives.

Candidate Requirements

- **Proficiency:** Proficient in architecting, operating, and continually improving a scaled hiring process. Familiarity with modern, industry-standard applicant tracking systems and outreach platforms is crucial.


- **Full-Stack Recruiter:** Ability and drive to function as an individually contributing full-stack recruiter, showcasing hands-on involvement beyond managerial responsibilities.
