Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Eminent Domain attorney located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, offering flexibility for some remote work. The Eminent Domain Attorney will represent public entities in legal proceedings related to property acquisition through eminent domain. Responsibilities include negotiating with landowners, filing lawsuits, and advocating for clients rights and interests. The attorney will contribute to the development of creative strategies, both in and out of the courtroom, to help clients achieve their goals.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in California and federal courts
- 6+ years of experience in eminent domain or general real estate litigation matters
- Experience in negotiating settlements, appearing in court, and collaborating with appraisers and other experts
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING Must be a graduate of an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan or ability to obtain admission upon commencement of employment.
