Engineering Project Manager - Sanitary Water

Due to continued growth, our Toms River, NJ office is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Engineering Project Manager Sanitary & Water with 10+ years of relevant experience to become a key part of our Water and Wastewater Practice team.

You will work directly with our professionals, including collaboration with staff at other office locations. This position is an outstanding opportunity to join, learn, support and lead programs that advance our client s goals by improving environmental conditions for safe, reliable drinking water and proper management of sanitary sewage and residuals.

The individual fulfilling this role is envisioned to eventually become the future Water and Wastewater Practice leader for the firm. Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, PE in NJ required, PE in PA a plus;

• Sound academic foundation in civil - sanitary and water engineering design; Relevant experience of 10+ years with civil - sanitary and/or water projects, preferably both;

• Planning, design and construction experience with sanitary sewage collections system, conveyance and pumping, treatment and disposal;

• Planning, design and construction experience with drinking water sources, storage, treatment and distribution systems;

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software is preferred; GIS a plus;

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;

• Management skills including project delivery, client management and business development;

• Strong people and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent the firm in all related areas.

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, NJ PE Required Minimum of 7+ years of experience servicing municipal clients and/or managing infrastructure projects Experience with civil design, bidding and project management and communicating with clients and contractors; experience reviewing land development applications Understanding of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law, Residential Site Improvement Standards and Local Public Contracts Law Familiarity with latest New Jersey Storm water Management/MS4 permit regulations as well as other New Jersey regulatory agency requirements Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D required; GIS experience a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Must have good written/verbal communication and people skills to facilitate frequent public communication Exposure to public testimony for Planning Boards and/or Land Use Boards is beneficial
