We are looking for passionate RNs to join our growing neurosurgery program! In your role you will see a wide variety of cases including traumatic brain injury craniotomy endoscopic transsphenoidal for tumor resection shunt placements and more! We encourage learning and growth and welcome training new team members in the neurosurgery specialty

Functions

1. Develop and enhance significant specialized skills that can best be honed in a specialized team like ours
2. Meeting with patients and their families prior to surgery to explain the procedure
3. Supervise room setup including getting the hightech equipment ready for the surgeon to use during the procedure
4. Actively assisting in the surgery itself
5. Run the room as a circulating nurse making sure that everything is prepared for the particular procedure being performed

Requirements

1. Graduate of an approved nursing program
2. Current California Registered Nurse license
3. Current BLS certification
4. year of Neurosurgery RN experience required
