The Agency is looking for an experienced Insurance Underwriter! As an Insurance Underwriter, you will evaluate insurance applications, assess risks, and determine policy terms and pricing. Your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing insurance applications and supporting documentation.
- Analyzing applicants risk profiles and determining coverage eligibility.
- Calculating insurance premiums based on risk assessment.
- Collaborating with agents and brokers to gather additional information.
- Recommending policy terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Communicating underwriting decisions to agents, brokers, and clients.
- Staying current with industry regulations and market trends.
- Ensuring underwriting quality and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an insurance underwriter.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and tools.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance account management. Proficiency in insurance software and CRM systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Insurance licenses and certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are a plus.
