Position Statement

Looking for an exciting job that is a career?RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation is growing and looking for a select group of trainees that will join our already accomplished team of professional Dispatchers. We are hiring dispatchers to dispatch vehicles, including sedans, shuttles, and buses. The dispatchers are responsible for ensuring the vehicles are staffed and running on time. Essential Functions

• Complete reports and paperwork within the given timeframe
  

• Document accurate reports of incidents or problems that may arise.
  

• May occasionally operate a company vehicle, in compliance with insurance requirements.
  

• Monitor base communication and respond to vehicle operator issues in accordance with company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to emergencies, breakdowns, traffic issues, and adverse weather.
  

• Communicate with members of the public concerning company information.
  

• Follow company protocol and procedures during shift with or without direct supervision.
  

• Provide safe and timely instructions and responses to requests.
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior dispatch experience
  

• Proficient with computers
  

• At least 2 years of prior experience with Transportation Software or Dispatch Software
  

• Ability to tolerate high stress situations
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  

• Listening skills and verbal communication
  

• Experience in data entry
  

• Proficient in English (oral and written)
  

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions (in English)
  

• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
  

• This position is a safety sensitive function and may be subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements
  

• High school diploma or equivalent
  

• Ability to work three (3) 12-hour shifts and one (1) 4-hour shift, with 3.5 days off a week
