Job Description
PGLS is looking for a Brazilian Portuguese Language Instructor to teach an intensive course for an adult professional, onsite in New York, NY. This position is for a class starting on December 11, 2023, for 6 months.

Requirements
- Educated native or bilingual speaker.
- 2+ year(s) of classroom experience teaching Portuguese (Brazil) language to adult English-speaking students.
- 1+ year(s) of teaching experience in a small-group classroom setting.
- Must possess the cultural background of the country and geographical region. (raised or educated in the county).
- Familiarity with the communicative approach to language learning, ILR language levels and OPI assessments highly desired.
- Familiarity with various computer platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting software (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, WebEx).
