Plant Hire Controller

As OCU Group moves further into our path of significant growth continues This has allowed us to expand across all departments We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Hire Controller to join our Plant and Transport team in our Levenshulme depot

The purpose of the role is to provide daytoday administrative support to the internal Plant Hire department Working in a structured manner and to set deadlines and timeframes Attention to detail and accuracy of information forms a critical component of this role

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure Hire OffHires Transfer of Plant requests are updated regularly to ensure customer & supplier information is % reflective
• Manage requests from the Plant and Traffic Management System in a timely fashion to meet our customer requirements ensuring all plant is hired out at agreed rates
• Assist with the daytoday management of the OCU Plant mailbox
• Raise order numbers via Syrinx/Sage forward orders to relevant suppliers to ensure equipment is allocated against the appropriate contracts
• Carry out general administrative tasks set by department managers as and when required
• Assist departmental manager with the swift resolution of supplier invoice queries
• Full training will can be given

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in PC operating systems (Word / Excel / Outlook)
• Selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative enthusiastic with can do attitude
• Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
• Good problemsolving skills the ability to anticipate potential problems and overcome them effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Good understanding of customer service
• Previous experience within a plant and transport operation would be an advantage
