Experienced Floral Designer Part-Time or Full Time

Are you an experienced floral designer looking for a part-time or full-time opportunity in a dynamic and creative environment? Centerville Florists is seeking a talented floral designer to join our team. This role offers the chance to showcase your artistic skills and bring joy to our customers through beautiful floral arrangements.

• Create stunning floral arrangements based on in-store and wire services recipes, as well as design custom floral creations that showcase your artistic skills.
  
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand their preferences and fulfill their requests for arrangements within specific price points.
  
• Package orders with care, ensuring items are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized design area, ensuring all merchandise and supplies are properly stored to optimize your creative process.
  
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and fellow team members.
  
• Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in fresh-cut floral design, with a demonstrated aptitude for creating exceptional floral arrangements.
  
• Flexibility to work during major floral holidays and every other Saturday.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment, responding appropriately to priority and last-minute orders.
  
• A positive and courteous attitude, even in stressful situations.
  
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other software) and a willingness to learn floral processes and computer systems.
  
• Physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and lift and carry products and materials up to 40 lbs.
  
• Possession of a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to work.
  
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet.Excellent interpersonal skills, relating well with customers of all types.
