Job Description

As a Media Supervisor, you ll sit in a client-facing role where you ll have the opportunity to bring
fresh, innovative ideas to the table while looking out for our client s best interests (and staying

collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. The Media Supervisor is responsible for
assisting in the research, planning, creation, and implementation of media plans for a specific
set of clients. They are responsible for having an in-depth knowledge of the client s business
and its competitors to determine sufficient digital advertising and media needs and to ensure
plans are properly executed and delivered. In addition to managing the work of the specialists
they supervise, the Media Supervisor will have day-to-day client contact and work with their
counterpart teams (account/project management, technology, creative teams).

Specific Responsibilities

Create and present digital media plans to a select number of clients
Manage the activation of said media plans across search, social, display, programmatic,
native channels
Ensures accuracy of advertising delivery against pre-established KPIs
Interpret clients needs into comprehensive digital media strategy and tactics
Fluidly speak to media recommendations/alternatives in a constantly optimizing
environment
Oversee workflow to activation team members
Provides guidance and mentorship to junior members of the media team
Analyze advertising performance on a consistent basis and recommend optimization
Manage day to day contact with internal technologists, account managers, activation
teams, and client contacts
Media plan presentation deck building
New media research
Build agency wide POVs on media strategy and usage
Work with activation and technologist on ensuring data integrity
Manage third party data providers
Generates insights to monthly client performance reports and presents to client portfolio
Responsible for coordinating the onboarding of new clientele
Build and maintain agency client media blueprints and channel specific playbooks
Adhere to and uphold media team best practices

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of media channels
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bachelors degree; degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications preferred
  • Four + years of progressive levels of responsibility in digital media planning, buying and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
  • Experienced with all social media advertising platforms, paid search ins and outs, and programmatic advertising
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and Google Workspace
  • Traditional advertising channel knowledge a plus
  • Google Tag Manager, Google Local Services, GA4, experience is also welcome
